Ahok acknowledged, the aimed of the commemoration is to increase nationalism

Especially for young generations, Ahok gave a mentally revolution message in accordance with Nawa Cita of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.
Today, nation mentally character building had become major priority of government. The development which called mental revolution is expected could create the creative yet national spirited citizen.
“In accordance with such spirit, demand to advance is important to generate spirit. Let us work harder and harder,” he told.
Furthermore, the commemoration was also attended Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat, Mrs. Veronica Tan (Ahok’s wife) along with Mrs. Happy Farida and hundred civil servants who served in Jakarta City Administration.
